JOINING CONTACT POINT
Montgomery County’s
Business to Business Referral Network

Contact Point is by invitation only and will accept membership from one business per industry (i.e. one plumber, one contractor, one printer, one CPA, etc.). Contact Point is a structured networking forum that will provide a referral system to help build new customer relationships for everyone. All applications will be reviewed, and if your industry is not currently represented, you will receive an invitation to join Contact Point. If there is no current spot available, your information will be kept on file, and when an opening occurs, we will invite you to join the group at that time.

Upon accepting a networking membership with Contact Point, your responsibilities will be:

  1. To have you or another representative attend every Wednesday lunch (currently a cost of $12, $10 for the lunch and $2 to cover the overhead expenses of the group (i.e., printing, awards, etc.)
  2. Bring one or more referrals for another member at every meeting (live by the rule “what goes around comes around”).
  3. Commit to following up in an acceptable time frame with every lead that you receive.
  4. Offer the same quality products and services, with the same level of commitment, as you would to any other customer or client.
  5. To conduct business with the utmost integrity and character.
  6. Offer testimonials regarding other member’s businesses or the success of the referrals they have provided for you.
  7. Always speak positively of other Contact Point members. If a question arises about another member’s commitment to excellence, it should always be reported to Contact Point, and not be discussed with the other members. This protects your reputation as well.
  8. Contact Point is committed to helping grow local businesses through new contacts and referrals. We do reserve the right to terminate membership at any time.
  9. Membership is with the individual, not with the company.
  10. You can not participate in any other exclusive referral group such as LeTip or BNI.
